Why having your morning oatmeal all over your face is beneficial

What does Oatmeal do to your face?

Oatmeal can soak up the excess oil on your skin and help treat acne. Its an antioxidant and has anti-inflammatory properties which helps to treat dry skin and remove dead skin cells. Oats also contain compounds called saponins, which are natural cleansers. They remove the dirt and oil that clog the pores and exfoliates the skin.

This coconut oil and oatmeal face mask recipe is great for acne-prone skin because of its antibacterial and antifungal properties. It also serves to soothe inflammation and restore the natural pH balance of your skin.
